The PaperFace: Series of portraits made of brown wrapper-paper, which profiles and textures are achieved by tearing, pinching and, also, borrowing from wood-cutting techniques, all entirely by hand. An expression of detailed craftsmanship, at the same time a work of spontaneity and improvisations. Brought to life through photography and lighting techniques. Made as a special projects for my exhibitions.
Available in posters and 2013 calendar. Each month represents the birthday of each person (with the exception of Sun Tzu as prologue and John Lennon as epilogue.
